Activity Transfer to Standard Inventory

Explanation

This activity is used to transfer handling units or inventory parts from project inventory to standard inventory.
This may be, for example, when a project has excess material that can be used as standard inventory, or when you do not know which other projects will require the handling unit or the part. This could also be performed before closing the project, when the project is completed.

This activity also provides for the creation and printing of new bar codes. Changes in the project belonging of inventory parts will affect how the parts are identified using barcodes.

You can enter notes, that will be saved on the resulting inventory transactions.
