Enter Superior Object

Explanation

Use this activity to enter the parent equipment object, that the repaired serial object is to be moved to, when it is moved from the inventory to the facility.

Prerequisites

Before information on the destination object is entered, the following must have been completed:

• A material line should be created automatically (with the Place InFacility/ RepairWorkshop check box selected) when returning the repaired part to inventory, if the action type Repair and Place in Facility is selected in Create Repair Work Order Assistant.
• The functional object created with an object level that allows serial objects.

Procedure

Use the following procedure to enter the information:

1. Navigate to Prepare Work Order or Work Task window.
2. Select the Material tab.
3. In the Superior Object Site field, select the site which the parent object belongs.
4. In the Superior Object ID field, enter the identity for the parent object.
5. Save the information.
