Use this window and its tabs to enter and maintain product structures for configurable parts. Configuration structures work in the same way as product structures, with the exception that configuration rules in the form of conditions and actions can be attached to elements of the structure. Because you work with parts in the inventory part register, you must have entered the parts, inventory locations, and all related data in IFS/Inventory. The information you enter here becomes the default when you work with structures in shop orders.
For a description of each tab in the window, follow the appropriate link: Config Structure, Where Used, Engineering Change Order, Design FMEAs and MRBs. The Eng Change Order tab is only visible if you have IFS/Engineering installed. The Design FMEAs tab is only visible if you have Failure Modes and Effects Analysis installed. The Configuration Structure MRB tab is only available if you have IFS/Change Management installed.
