Perform Condition Measurements

Explanation

This activity is used to record condition measurements on a work task. During execution of a scheduled maintenance it is possible to find abnormalities, such as, measurements that are outside the defined condition limits. When such measurements are found, you can use the functionality described in this activity to record the new measurements and initiate corrective action. When a measure value that is outside any of the defined condition limits is recorded, a maintenance event is created and added automatically to the work package (maintenance order) for the ongoing work scope.

Note: If condition measurement requirements exist on a work task, these measurements must be performed before the work task can be completed.
