Use this window to build up and view compatible unit template structures from all possible sub unit and execution item alternatives. You can also register possible execution item requirements such as work lists, materials, resources and work task templates. It is possible to access this window by clicking on the respective navigator node, or by selecting right click option Compatible Unit Template Navigator on a relevant compatible unit template record. General information of the selected template is displayed on the upper section. The structure of the selected template and the connected execution items are graphically displayed in the left navigator pane, while information of the selected templates and execution items are displayed at the respective right hand section. It is further possible to create or connect sub unit templates and sub execution item templates by selecting a parent template.
Status of a single template or a structure is possible to change by a right click option. A compatible unit template automatically sets into Planned status upon creation. You can change it to Released or Cancelled. Releasing a compatible unit template automatically sets the status of the connected execution items to Released status. Released compatible unit templates can be re-planned using the right click option RePlan. Once a compatible unit template is re-planned, existing configurations in Configured status is not possible to evaluate until the compatible unit template structure is released again. Compatible Unit Template allows to define configuration rules against each of its sub template units, execution item templates, work task templates, work lists, resources and materials.. You can create one or more configuration criteria on a released compatible unit template by using the context menu option Configuration on the header. It is also possible to view or copy them.
