Create Compatible Unit Template Revision

Explanation

This activity is used to create multiple compatible unit template revisions. Upgrade or a change of a compatible unit template can be registered as a new revision. This is helpful to keep track of the original template structures. These template revisions can independently be used to configure and create different compatible unit structures.

Prerequisites

At least a single revision of a compatible unit template must exist.

System Effects

A new compatible unit template revision will be created.

Procedure

1. Open the Compatible Unit Template Navigator window.
2. Query for an existing compatible unit parent on which the new revision is needed.
3. Right-click on the General tab or respective tree node and click Create New Revision. The Create New Revision dialog box opens.
4. Enter a description for the new revision in the Revision Description field.
5. Use the check boxes and select the required sub unit templates that need to be created as new revisions. Select All option expands and marks all sub unit templates at once.
6. Set the dialog OK.
