Register Operational Parameter Values
Explanation
This activity is used to register operational parameter
values for a maintenance event. These operational parameter values will be displayed when the
event is finished (i.e., when using the Finish
Maintenance Event
assistant), at which time you can change these values, if necessary.
If operational parameter values are not registered, the
default values are used when the event is finished. To get default values,
right-click the operational parameter, and then click Suggest Operational
Values. For more information, refer to the activity
Fetch Operational
Values for Maintenance Date.
Prerequisites
To perform this activity, the event for which operational parameter values are
to be registered must have been distributed with the distribution type
Simplified Work Order, Work
Order or Execution Logic Structure.
System Effects

The registered operational parameter values can be changed when you are
finishing the event. For more information, refer the online help file
Finish Maintenance Event.
- The registered operational parameter values are
retained in history
and will be used to calculate the next
maintenance. Note that when operational parameter values are not registered, the values
used are the historical values closest in time to the finish date of the
event.

Procedure
- Open the Maintenance Order window and query (F3) for the necessary maintenance
order.
- Click the Maint. Order Str. tab. In
the graphical object structure select the required event, and then click the
Supply Event Info sub tab. Note: This procedure can also
be performed by using the Supply Information
for Maintenance Event window.
- Click the Oper Param tab.
- In the Value After Overhaul field, enter the accumulated value
after the last overhaul.
- In the Value After Repair field, enter the accumulated value
after the last time the serial was inducted into the workshop.
- In the Value Total field, enter the accumulated total value for
the serial.
- Save the record (F12).
