Report Work Done
Explanation
This activity is used to set a work task to the Work Done status.
Setting the work task to work done indicates that all work has been performed,
but there may be some reporting left to do.
If Executor sign off requirements exist on the work task, the sign off will be
performed automatically when the status of the work task is changed to Work Done.
When this activity is performed, and certificate requirements are defined, the system
will check whether the current user fulfills requirements for performing executor
sign off, after which the work task will be signed off and the work task changed
to the Work Done status.
Prerequisites
- The work task must have been
Released.
System Effects
- The work task is set to the Work Done
status.
- If sign off requirement for Executor is used, then Sign Off By and Sign
Off Date is updated with the executor and current date in the Work Task/Sign
Off Requirements
- A journal entry is created for this event. Journal entries are generated
in the Journal tab found in the Prepare Work Order
and Report In Work Order windows.
- If the work task is connected to a SLA order line which has a SLA latest
finish and responded date is empty, when the status of the work task is set to
Work Done, the Resolved Date is updated on SLA order line.

Procedure
- Open the Work Task or the
Work Tasks
window. Alternatively select the Work Tasks tab in the
Prepare Work Order, Report In Work Order or
the Work Order
Structure window.
- Query the work order and then select the appropriate work task (F3).

Right-click, point to Status,
and then click Work Done.
- Observe the Status field for the work task is set to
Work Done.
