Complete Work Assignments
Explanation
This activity is used to conclude work defined on a Work Assignment. Once all work defined on a work assignment is accomplished then it can be set
to status Completed.
Prerequisites
In order to set status to Completed,
- A work assignment should exist where all the associated work have been
finalized.
- All resource usages related to the work assignment should be reported
in.
System Effects
- Work assignment will be set to status Completed.
- The Assignment Finish date on the work assignment is updated with
current date.
- If the work assignment is in Work Started status the Work
Finish date is updated with current date.
- Work assignment's Allocation Finish date is updated with
Assignment Finish date.
- A journal entry is created for this event. Journal entries are generated in the
Journal tab found in the Prepare Work Order and
Report In Work Order
windows.
- If the work task is connected to a SLA order line which has a SLA latest
finish, when the status is set to Pending Completion or Completed,
the Resolved Date is updated on SLA order line.
- f the Allow Multiple Visits check box is selected for the work
task and if the selected work assignment is not the last visit of the visit
chain, then the Time to Complete dialog is received to update
the remaining time to complete the total work related to the visit chain.

Procedure
Use this procedure to set status to Completed.
- Open the Work Assignments or
Work Task window or alternatively open
Work Tasks tab in Prepare Work Order
window.
- Query for the work order and then select the appropriate work task to be
concluded.
- Right Click and select Status, and then click Completed.
