Clock In to perform work

Explanation

This activity is used to clock in to one or more work assignments. When the Clock In/Clock Out feature is used, time reporting on is done automatically.

It is possible to clock in and clock out several times on a work assignment. When an assignee clock in, a new record with the Start Time is created in the Work Task Clockings window. If the assignee clock out of the work assignment, the Stop Time will be updated for the clocked in entries, and a work task transaction will be created for the time spent on work.

If the same person is allocated for the several work assignments, use the Group Clock In option to clock in.

Note: that if multiple employees are clocked into the same work task, their reported time per day will be calculated and transferred separately for each employee.

When you clock into for the first time, the status of the work assignment will be set to Started.
