Use this window to view, enter or modify the information on cost codes. The cost codes can be defined as a cost code or a WIP cost code (used in work in progress accounting). It is also possible to define if the cost code can be used to override system-retrived cost codes.
With the use of cost codes, it is possible to define how different business scenarios should be cost managed. Create one cost code for each business scenario and configure them in the Work Task Cost Code Rules window. The defined cost codes are also used as control type vales for control type C106 - Work Task Cost Codes, which is used to define how the different cost codes should be posted for each posting type.
