Maintenance Order/Exec. Logic

[About Maintenance Order] [About Pending Maintenance Event] [About Work Order] [To Prepare Maintenance Visit]

Usage

Use this window and its tabs to view and maintain the execution logic structure (ELS) for the maintenance order.

This window is divided into two parts:

The topmost node in the graphical object structure represents the maintenance order for which the ELS was created. Below that grouping nodes corresponding to the grouping criteria defined on the ELS template will be displayed. The grouping nodes can be found on one or more levels depending on the grouping criteria. Note that it is also possible to define grouping criteria without any grouping nodes. The grouping nodes are indicated by the sign. The corresponding ELO node will be displayed on the level below. Note that only one ELO node will be created at the lowest level grouping nodes. The ELO nodes are indicated by the sign. The Ungrouped Task Cards node will be created automatically when there are task cards that do not fit into any of the defined ELOs or if the valid ELOs have already been completed. These ungrouped task cards as well as task cards that are already grouped will be defined at the lowest level of the structure. The task cards are indicated by the sign.

In the graphical object structure you can:

The Reload Exec. Logic Grouping Info option can be used to recreate an ELS without having to cancel and recreate the entire maintenance order. This is useful when you need to correct problems in the basic data, i.e., lacking or incorrect setup of task cards, and have these corrections reflected in the ELS. When this option is selected, all task cards, subtasks, material, resources, execution logic structure etc. will be removed and recreated in the same way as when the maintenance order is set to the Under Preparation status. The menu option is available in the header of the window.

For the description of each tab in the window, follow the appropriate link: Exec. Logic Structure, Gantt, Material Required, Demand Roll Up.
