View Rental History

Explanation

This activity is used to view the rental history. You can reach the information about rental history either directly from the Rental Events History window, or from Manage Rentals or the Rental Workbench windows.

The Tool/Equipment window is used to view rental events history for a part if the rental part is registered as a tool/equipment.

As rental events are entered for a rental line an event history log is built up. This event history will form the basis for any rental transactions generated. By reviewing the rental events history, you can get information on how the transactions have been generated.

Prerequisites

• Rental events have to be registered.
• To use the Tool/Equipment window the rental part has to be registered as a tool/equipment.

Procedure

1. Open the Rental Events History window.
2. Query for the rental number, part number or other criteria you wish to search for.
3. Review data as required.

To view rental history per rental number.

1. Open either the Manage Rentals or the Rental Workbench window.
2. Query for the rental number you wish to view.
3. Select the line, right-click and click Rental Event History from Manage Rentals or go to the Events History tab in Rental Workbench window.
4. Review data as required.

To view work order history per tool/equipment.

1. Open the Tool/Equipment window.
2. Query for the tool/equipment you wish to view.
3. Go to the Rental Events History tab.
4. Review data as required.
