Perform Project MRP per Activity

Explanation

Use this activity to perform project MRP per activity.

Prerequisites

• Project activity must be released.
• Material plan with material defined with supply option Project MRP must exists. How to set supply option to Project MRP and how to create material plan is described here Review Supply Option and Generate Material Plan.
• Deliverable items must be approved as described here: Approve Item.

System Effects

As a result of this, project MRP will be performed for the activity and supplies will be planned for the inventory part(s).

Procedure

1. Open one of the following windows:

• Project Deliverables Definition/Project Information tab, right-click and click Perform Project MRP Per Activity.
• Project Navigator window, select the top node, right-click and click Perform Project MRP Per Activity.
• Project window, right-click in the header and click Perform Project MRP Per Activity.

A successfully completed project MRP per activity will create supply requests and can now be further processed, as described here: Perform Project MRP per Activity
