Approve Item

Explanation

Use this activity to approve a project deliverable item and its component structure.

Prerequisites

Items defined with the item type Material, must have part information defined.

The project must have been approved.

System Effects

Project Deliverable and its component structure can be modified with delete structure, disconnect/connect, and drag & drop options, if item status is planned. For all other item statuses, these operations are prevented by the system.

Procedure

1. Open the Project Deliverables Navigator window and populate it with values.
2. Open the General tab, Components or Navigation Items tab.
3. Right-click and click Status/Approve.
4. Click Yes to also approve component items.
