Explanation
Use this activity to complete a project deliverable
item.
Prerequisites
A project deliverable item should exist and the status should be
approved.
System Effects
The following is valid when status is changed to completed:
- Project deliverable and its component structure can be modified with options
like delete structure, disconnect/connect, and
drag & drop, if item status is planned. For all other item statuses, these
options are prevented by the system.
- Complete status enables tags to be
assigned on project deliverable items, as described here:
Assign Tag Numbers on Items.
- Complete status can create tags with serial information, as described
here: Review Tag and
Tracking Information.

Procedure
Enter general information in the Project Deliverables Navigator/General
tab, in the Project Deliverables Navigator/Components
tab or in the
Project Deliverables Navigator/Navigation Items tab:
- Open the Project Deliverables Navigator window and populate it with
values.
- Open one of the above tabs.
- Right-click and then click Status/Complete.
Note: Status
can be changed to Approved again, by right-clicking and
selecting Reopen.
