Use this window to manually spread and verify it per day. The planned hours for each day have to be manually entered into the table and the result is immediately shown in the graph.
The window shows how one single resource row consumption compares to the total consumption (by other activities) for the activity period.
The information displayed is the resource usage of all the activities, spread across all the work days available, according to the calendar for the resource group. The graph displays a day period, starting with the work day closest to the early start date of the connected activity. You can scroll through the entire activity period and view the resource allocation changes. This is useful to identify over allocated resources as you add resource connections to your project.
The bar shown for each day is the total usage allocated for the work day on the X-axis. The Hours portion of the bar is the usage based on the resource connection of the selected activity, and the Other Hours portion is the usage of all the other activities.
The normal capacity limit defined for each day for the resource group is displayed as a line in the graph. This shows you how your planned resource usage relates to available resources.
