Cancel Request for Order Quotation

Explanation

You can cancel an entire Reqeust for Order Quotation by using Cancel in the Operations menu in the Request for Order Quotation window. This activity can be performed from any status except Closed.

If you only want to cancel a part/no part request line, in the tab Request for Order Quotation/Part Request Lines or Request for Order Quotation/No Part Request Lines right-click the appropriate line and select Cancel Line.

When a part/no part quotation line or entire quotation has been cancelled, its status changes to Cancelled, and no further transactions can be performed.

Prerequisites

The request for order quotation header or part/no part request lines must be in a status other than Closed.

The status for the request for order quotation header or part request line is updated to Cancelled and no further transactions can be performe

Procedure

To cancel an entire request for order quotation:

1. Use the Populate or Query function to display the appropriate request in the Request for Order Quotation window.
2. To cancel an entire request for order quotation, select Cancel in the right mouse button menu in the upper part of the Request for Order Quotation window.

To cancel a part/no part request line:

1. Use the Populate or Query function to display the appropriate quotation in the Request for Order Quotation window.
2. Select the part/no part request line line in question. Select right mouse button menu Cancel Line in the Request for Order Quotation/Part Request Lines or Request for Order Quotation/No Part Request Lines tab windows.
