HR Assistant Configuration
Usage
Use this tab to determine what steps, fields, and tables are available in the
assistant.
The tab is divided into 2 areas: the step list on the left and
sub-tabs on the right.
Step List
The step list displays all steps currently active for the selected assistant
configuration.
Different sub-tabs are available depending on the currently selected step
list element:
- If you select the name of the assistant configuration (located at the
very top of the list), you will gain access to the Configuration Steps
tab.
- If you select any of the steps, you will gain access to Fields
and Layout tabs.
Sub-Tabs
Sub-Tabs display information about the currently selected element from the
step list.
- The Configuration Steps tab is available if you select the
name of the configuration from the step list. It displays every step
available for the assistant. You can enable and disable particular steps as
well as change their order. Any changes on this tab will alter the list of
active steps on the left.
- The Fields tab is available if you select any step from
the step list. It displays every field available for a particular step. You
can enable and disable particular fields as well as change their order. This
tab also displays tables used in an assistant. Each table is marked with a
+ sign and can be right clicked to view and edit its columns.
- The Layout tab is available if you select any step from
the step list. It shows what the step will look like in the assistant. You
manually move the fields around using a dialog box invoked via a right-click
action.

Following right-click actions are available
On the Configuration Steps tab:
- Change Field Order - opens the Configuration Step Order
dialog box where you can change the order of assistant's steps.
On the Fields tab:
- Default Layout - restores the default settings of the step.
WARNING! Clicking this will make you lose all of your changes!
- Change Field Order - opens the Configuration Field Order
dialog box where you can change the order in which fields are displayed.
- Table Columns - opens the Table Columns dialog box where
you can define what columns will be enabled/mandatory in the assistant's
table.
Note: This setting is available only for table fields marked with a
+ sign nest to their record.
On the Layout tab:
- Save Layout - saves the field layout of the currently selected step.
- Default Layout - loads a default layout of the currently selected step.
WARNING! Clicking this will make you lose all of your changes!
- Change Field Location - opens the HR Assistant Step Layout
dialog box where you can change field layout of the currently selected step.
