Analyze Shop Order Material Availability using Visualizer Charts

Explanation

Use this activity to analyze the material availability of shop orders using visualizer charts.

Prerequisites

A shop order with at least one material line must exist.

The material availability of the visualized shop order(s) are displayed.

Procedure

  1. Open a visualizer enabled window and search for the data to be analyzed.
  2. If the Data View is displayed, click Visualization View on the title bar.
  3. Click the Configure Visualizations icon on the topmost right hand corner. The Visualization Settings dialog box is opened.
  4. Drag charts from Available Charts to Chart Layout from the charts listed under Shop Orders Material Availability or Part Availability.
  5. Use the Shop Orders Material Availability Summary to analyze the worst case material availability per shop order.
  6. Use the Shop Orders Material Availability to analyze the worst case material availability per shop order and order start date.
  7. Use the Shop Order Material Lines Availability to analyze the availability per shop order material line and date required.
  8. Use the Shop Order Material Demand - Supply Covers Demand to analyze the shop order material lines for which the demand is covered by existing supply orders.
  9. Use the Shop Order Material Demand - Need Orders to analyze the shop order material lines for which the demand is not fully covered by existing supply orders, but can be made available given the lead time if a new supply order is placed today.
  10. Use the Shop Order Material Demand - Shortage to analyze the shop order material lines for which the demand is not fully covered by existing supply orders, and cannot be made available on the required date given the lead time even if a new supply order is placed today.
  11. Use the Inventory Part Availability Planning to analyze and reschedule supplies and demands for a selected part.
  12. Click OK.
