Reject Approval of Maintenance Events
Explanation
This activity is used to reject the approval of maintenance events. Ideally, this activity can
be performed to undo an approval prior to releasing the work scope. You can
choose to reject the approval for all events or for specific events only.
Prerequisites
- The relevant events must be approved.
- The interim order header created by the work scope cannot exist in any
of the following statuses: Partially Released, Cancelled or Closed.
System Effects
As a result of this activity, the status of the event is changed to
Preliminary.

Procedure
Follow this procedure to reject the approval of all events in the work scope:
- Open the Define Work Scope window.
- In the Work Order No field, query (F3) for the work order to
which your work order part belongs.
- Right-click on the header of the window and then click Reject
Approval of All Maintenance Events. The status of all events will be changed from
Original to Preliminary.
Follow this procedure to reject the approval of a selected number of events in
the work scope:
- Open the Define Work Scope window.
- In the Work Order No field, query (F3) for the work order to
which your work order part belongs.
- Click the
Work Scope Mx Events tab.
- Select the rows that contain the required events, right-click, and
then click Reject Approval of Maintenance Events. The status of the selected
events
will be changed from Original to Preliminary.
