Define Work Lists
Explanation
This activity is used to define work list required to handle resources and
materials needed with in an execution item template. A description along with a
long description and a duration (number of hours planned for the work list) can be entered for each work list line. It considers defining
every alternative work list required by the execution item template.
Prerequisites
- An execution item template must exist.
- If the Work Lists are to be connected to a task template, the task
template must be defined on the Compatible Unit Template
Navigator/Jobs and Templates tab prior to defining the work lists
for the execution item template.
System Effects
As a result of this activity, work lists will be added for the execution item
template.

Procedure
- Open the Compatible Unit Template Navigator window.
- Search for an existing record.
- Select the appropriate execution item template in the navigator.
- Click the Work Lists tab.
- Enter a new record and enter a value in the Description field.
- Enter information is Long Description field as required and use
the List of Values to select a suitable value for Job ID.
- Optionally, enter the number of planned hours for the work list in
Duration field.
- Save the information.
