Define Jobs and Templates

Explanation

This activity is used to define the required jobs and templates by the selected execution item template. It also facilitates to connect separate task templates if necessary. This activity considers defining all task template alternatives required by an execution item template.

Prerequisites

• An execution item template in the state of not Released must exist.
• Task templates must exist if a task template is required to be connected.

System Effects

As a result of this activity a task template line will be added to the execution item template.

Procedure

1. Open the Compatible Unit Template Navigator window.
2. Search for an existing record.
3. Select the appropriate execution item template in the navigator.
4. Click the Jobs and Templates tab and create a new record.
5. Enter description about the task template in Description field or if a task template is connected enter value in Task Template ID field. Use the List of Values to select a suitable value.
6. Save the information.
