Analyze Before Import

Explanation

This activity is used to start and study how different analyses on integration packages can take place. This activity can be performed in the Analyze Inbound Integration Package window. The analyses can be carried out adhering to one or all of the following conditions:

  1. Validate Against Schema: Checks the import-designated business objects, their values and relations against the schema to ascertain that they are all defined by the schema. The schema is of importance in detecting erroneous values that have been defined on the integration package. It is also possible to perform the schematic validation without logging on. In the Analyze Inbound Integration Package window you can choose the XML that you want to analyze and execute this validation.
  2. Business Object Instance Data Analyze: Compares the import of business objects defined in the integration package against the corresponding business objects in the database. When you select this check box,  the check boxes in the Show group of fields of the Settings tab are activated.
  3. Additional Validation Against Related Business Objects: A further check to ensure that the business object has been defined in the database. When you select this check box, the check boxes in the Related Business Objects group of fields of the Settings tab are activated.
