Analyze Inbound Integration Package/Analyze
Usage
Use this tab to initiate the analysis of contents of the inbound integration
package and to view its associated progress. Click Start to initiate and Stop
to abort the analysis at any time. Details of the import process will be
displayed including the timestamps.
The Overall Progress bar shows the progress of the entire import process
while the Current Business Object Progress bar shows the progress of
import of a particular business object. The analysis can be carried out adhering
to one or all of the following conditions:
- Validate Against Schema: Checks the import business objects
against the schema to ascertain that they are all defined in the schema.
- Business Object Instance Data Analyze: Compares the import of
business objects defined in the integration package against the
corresponding business objects in the database to draw attention to
warnings, modified and new data. When you select this
check box, the check boxes in the Show group of fields of the
Settings tab are activated where you can stipulate the types of
messages you want displayed during the analysis.
- Additional Validation Against Related Business Objects: A
further check to ensure that the business object property
that has
been defined on a business object from the integration package, has been
defined in the database. When you select this check box, the check boxes
in the Related Business Objects group of fields of the Settings
tab are activated where you can stipulate which types of business object
properties you want to check the database for, during the analysis.
