Usage

Use this window to configure the following user document settings.

• The local check-out path for all types of documents.
• An external viewer used to view drawings.
• An external redline application used to mark changes within a drawing.
• Determine if a local document file is deleted from disk after it is initially checked in.
• Determine if read-only files will be overwritten by files of the same name.
• Displays whether the logged in user, has Document Management Administrator rights.
• Determine the document type (e.g., Original, View) of the file to open when viewing or printing a document. When viewing or printing multiple documents this setting will not be considered.

This window is activated from the Document Basic window or the Document Revision window by right-clicking, pointing to File Operations, and clicking User Settings.
