This tab contains:
The Show Area: Use this area to indicate whether you want unavailable resource time and preceding or succeeding relationships between objects to be shown in the Gantt chart.
Resource Availability: Select this check box to plot the available resource time in white and the unavailable resource time in gray. You can clear the check box if you do not want to see the unavailable time blocks.
Precedence Line: Select this check box to draw the precedence line between activity time span plots, for APB this is only if the finish to start relationships are defined in IFS project between corresponding activities. If using MPB for maintenance the precedence line is also available if predecessor relationships are defined for tasks/operations in work orders.
Project Activity Time Span: Select this check box to plot the time span of activities on the Gantt chart. A line will be drawn on the Gantt chart, starting with a marker from the early start time activity to the early finish time activity.
Late Start/Late Finish: If this check box is selected, the time span line drawn for the activity will be extended from the early start time activity to the late finish time activity, and these will also be marked on the time span with a marker if they are defined. (N/A for Maintenance Planning Board)
Item Precedence: Select this check box to plot a precedence line between objects having a preceding or succeeding relationship depending on the project item structure in a delivery project. You can clear the check box to hide the precedence line. This precedence line is informational. It will not have any impact on scheduling. (N/A for Maintenance Planning Board)
The Behavior Area: Use this area to indicate whether an object should be expanded automatically when it is dragged to the Gantt chart.
Automatically Expand Plotted Items: Select this check box to automatically display first-level children of items that are dragged to the Gantt chart. You can override this feature by holding down the shift key while dragging the items.
