Select Equipment

Explanation

This activity is used for selecting an equipment object when ordering a service from the service catalog.

Prerequisites

• Logged in user should be configured as a B2B User - Customer.
• There must be equipment objects with the customer set as party type.
• The equipment must have a valid service contract.
• Available equipment objects for a specific service should be listed.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, an equipment object andspecific service will be selected when the Order Service assistant is opened.

Procedure

Use the following procedure to select an equipment from the service catalog.

1. Select the equipment object for which you want to order a service and select the Order Service option.
2. The Order Service assistant will open and the values for location, equipment and service will be filled in from start.
