Select Equipment from Map

Explanation

This activity is used to select an equipment object from a map. When ordering a service for that equipment, the equipment values will be filled in from start.

Prerequisites

• Logged in user should be configured as a B2B User - Customer.
• There must be equipment objects with the customer set as party type.
• For use from the My Service Center lobby, the equipment must be connected to a location and have a valid service contract.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, an equipment object will be preselected when the Service Order assistant is opened.

Procedure

Use the following procedure to get an equipment object preselected when ordering a service from the Service Center or My Service Center lobby.

1. Open the B2B > Service Center or My Service Center lobby > View Equipment on Map link in the Equipment group.
2. Select an equipment on the map. Select the Object Details link from the map card.
3. From the Equipment Object page, select Order Service.
4. The Order Service assistant will open up, with the value for location and equipment set from the previously selected equipment.
