Report In Metering Values

Explanation

Use this activity to enter a metering value for an equipment object. 

Prerequisites

Metering lines must have been entered for the object in the Metering Invoicing tab of the Serial Object or Functional Object windows.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, you can view the new value for the object in Metering Invoicing History. You can also generate a metering work order or a metering customer invoice according to the new value.

Procedure

1. Open the Measurements for Object window from an RMB on the Metered Invoicing tab.
2. In the New Recorded Reading field of the relevant parameter, enter the measured value of the parameter.
3. Save the information (F12).
4. Check that the reading has been saved as a measurement of type ‘Recorded Reading’.
5. If it has not, and has been saved as a ‘Preliminary Reading’ - in the lower measurement history area, click on the reading, right click 'Manage Preliminary Reading', and use the wizard to correct the reading.
