Readjust Visits

Explanation

Use this activity to adjust the visit chain according to the changes in remaining time to complete an activity or any deviation of activity duration and total allocated hours.

This activity is typically used when:

1. Work task is set as Allow Multiple Visits selected and,
2. There is a deviation between resource activity duration and total allocated hours.

Prerequisites

• Visit chain must exist.
• Readjustment needed symbol should be visible in the visit chain/work assignments.

System Effects

Work Assignments are updated as below

• If date period and allocated hours of the existing visit is updated, corresponding work assignment is updated accordingly
• If new visits are created, work assignments with status Assigned are created.
• If visits are removed, work assignments with status Assigned and not set to mobile will be deleted and work assignment with status above Assigned or set to mobile will be Canceled

Procedure

Readjust Visits

Follow this procedure to readjust visits:

1. Populate the Resource Monitoring Gantt in a way so that the visit chain that should be readjust.
2. Select the work assignment/visit with Readjustment Needed symbol and select the right mouse option Readjust.
