Before work orders can be prepared, they should be evaluated first, i.e., you decide whether or not a work order is to be performed. By retrieving all work orders with status 'Work Request' and 'Fault Report', you can see what have been created. It is also possible to indicate, through an e-mail, a message sent to a cellular phone or a system window popping-up directly on the screen, what kind of event occurred. All that could be done with the aid of Event Server for some previously specified conditions, e.g., a high-priority work order created for a specific maintenance organization will produce a message addressed to the responsible head of the maintenance organization.
