Enter Destination Object

Explanation

Use this activity to enter the parent equipment object, that the repaired serial object is to be moved to, when it is moved from the work shop to the facility.

Prerequisites

Before information on the destination object is entered, the following must have been completed:

• The functional object created with an object level that allows serial objects.

As a result of this activity, a serial object is moved from the repair workshop to the parent object.

Place Serial In Equipment Structure

Procedure

Use the following procedure to enter the information:

1. In Report In Work Order window, right click and select Place Serial in Equipment Structure option. 
2. In Place Serial In Equipment Structure dialog enter values for Object ID and Site fields with object information on where the serial object need to be placed in.
3. Enter values for Part No: and Serial No: fields with the serial part which needs to be placed in facility.
4. Modify value in Object ID field of required.
5. Select OK.
