Define Modelling Dataset

Explanation

Use this activity to define a modelling dataset. The modelling dataset needs to be connected to the scheduling dataset the modelling data is to be valid for in Service and Maintenance/Scheduling/Basic Data/Scheduling Dataset.

To set up and to utilize modelling data a corresponding modelling dataset with the same ID needs to be setup in the scheduling workbench. In the scheduling workbench the modelling dataset is configured in Service and Maintenance/Scheduling/Scheduling Workbench - Administration - Organisation - Modelling Datasets.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the modelling dataset can be connected to a scheduling dataset. The unique identifier for the modelling dataset connected to a scheduling dataset will be transferred to the DSE when running a LOAD. This results in that it will be possible to define modelling data such as travel cost models and rule collections within the Scheduling Workbench.

Procedure

1. Open the Modelling Basic Data/ Modelling Dataset window.
2. Create a new record (F5).
3. In the Modelling Dataset ID field, enter a unique identification for the modelling dataset.
4. In the Description field, enter a description of the modelling dataset. (This step is optional)
5. Save the information (F12).
