Edit Configuration

Explanation

This activity is used to make the configuration editable. The configuration status is changed to Editable. A configuration in the Editable status is unavailable in the warehouse data collection menu; no new sessions can be created. Changes can be made to the configuration only in the Editable status.

Prerequisites

All sessions using the configuration have to be completed or removed.

System Effects

• The configuration is unavailable in the Warehouse Data Collection window.
• The status will change from Locked to Editable when all incomplete sessions are completed or removed.

Procedure

1. Open the Data Collection Configuration window.
2. Select a configuration.
3. Right-click and then click Edit.
4. If all sessions using the configuration are completed or removed the configuration status will change to Editable. If not a warning message will appear and the configuration will be Locked. Right-click and then click Remove Uncompleted Sessions. All incomplete sessions will be removed and the configuration will be Editable.
