Use this dialog box to change the reporting category for a modification which is included on an active snapshot. This is useful when the preset reporting category does not reflect the changes at a shop visit. This functionality is not applicable for entries that have been added manually to the snapshot.
When the reporting category is changed, the Original Reporting Category field, in the Define Work Scope/Modification Snapshots tab, will be updated with the initial category with which the snapshot entry was generated.
When a new snapshot revision is created, it is possible to specify whether changed reporting categories are to be copied to the new revision or the category for the entry is to be set based on the predefined criteria.
