Enter Objects

Explanation

Use this activity to add objects and object structures that the service line is applicable to.

Prerequisites

• Service quotation should be in the status Under Preparation.
• Service contract should be created in the quotation.
• Equipment objects should be defined in IFS/Equipment Administration.
• Geographical objects and category objects should be defined in IFS/Equipment Administration.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, objects will be defined to the service line.

Procedure

1. Open the Service Quotation window and query for the required quotation (F3).
2. Click Service Contract tab and expand the navigator and click on the relevant service line node to open up Services window on the right pane.
3. Click the Scope sub tab and add new record.
4. Select the connection type of the object you wish to add to the service line in the Connection Type field.
5. Next enter the relevant object identity based on the connection type.
6. Optionally, if Has Structure check box is checked and if the service line need to be applied to all objects underneath check Use Line on Structure check box..
7. Save the information (F12).
