Enter Execution Information

Explanation

Use this activity to enter execution details that will be inherited by the work orders to create work tasks created connected to the service line.

Prerequisites

• Service quotation should be in the status Under Preparation.
• Maintenance organizations should be defined in IFS/Basic Data for Maintenance.
• Work Task templates should be defined and set to Active in IFS/Preventive Maintenance.
• The work stages must be entered in Work Order and PM Basic Data/Work Stages.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, execution data of the service line will be visible in quotation state of the service contract.

Procedure

1. Open the Service Quotation window and query for a record (F3).
2. Click Service Contract tab and expand the navigator and click on the relevant service line node to open up Services window on the right pane.
3. Click Execution sub tab and add new record (F5).
4. Enter Task Template ID using List of Values (F8).
5. Optionally, enter a value for the Maintenance Organization field. Use the List of Values (F8) to select a value.
6. Optionally, enter a value for the Work Stage ID field. Use the List of Values (F8) to select a value.
7. Save the information (F12).
8. If required, enter more Work Task Templates repeating steps 3 to 6. Note: When adding more Work Task Templates, the maintenance organization value should not be entered as it is enough to mention it in one record only.
