Create Service Quotation from Work Order
Explanation
This activity is used to create a new service quotation for the work
order
Prerequisites
- A work order of any connection type except VIM must exist
connected to the same customer as the service quotation
- The work order status is not Cancelled or Finished.
- Customer information must be defined in the
Customer window in IFS/Enterprise if you want to enter a
work order connected
to a customer.
System Effects
As a result of this activity, the work order is connected a to service quotation
with all the work tasks belong to the same customer as the service quotation..

Create Service Quotation
Procedure
- Open the Prepare Work Order window and query for
the work order.
- Right-click on the header and click Create Service Quotation. The Create
Service Quotation dialog box is opened.
- Enter Quotation Desc and select a value in the Customer
field if the work order is not connected to a customer.
- Enter dates in Request Receipt Date, Price Effective Date.
- Click OK.
