Change Interval Maintenance

Explanation

This activity is used to change an interval maintenance presented from the due calculation. You can either change the calendar due date of the interval maintenance or the due values. It is possible to perform the same interval maintenance change on one or more child events (events representing replacement maintenance codes) belonging to the selected parent event. This is useful for instances where the child event is executed along with the parent event.

There can be different reasons for changing the due date of a maintenance event. The most common reason is that an event cannot be performed by the calculated due date or value, e.g., due to lack of required materials. In such cases, the authorities can grant a concession for extending the operation for a given period of time.
