Enter Sales Part Rebate Group

Explanation

This activity can be used to define a sales part rebate group. Several sales parts can be grouped into the same rebate group when they share the same rebate characteristics.

The description can be translated into several languages using the basic data translation functionality. If a translation exists, the description will be shown in the application in the user session's language. On external reports, the description will be printed in the language specified by the customer, provided that the translation exists.

Prerequisites

• For entering translations, applicable language codes must be defined in the IFS/Applications Services component, on the Language tab of the ISO Code Usage window.

System Effects

As a result of this activity;

• Sales part rebate group is created.
• The created rebate group will be available in several windows and in the List of Values.
• If a translation of a description has been entered for a particular language, the translated description will appear in sessions with the corresponding language code. On external reports, the description will be printed in the language specified by the customer or the supplier, provided that the translation exists.

Procedure

1. Open the Sales Basic Data window.
2. Click the Rebate Group tab.
3. Enter a short code for the rebate group.
4. Enter a description for the rebate group.
5. Optionally, you can right-click, and then click Translation and enter translations in different languages for the description in the Basic Data Translation window.
6. Save the record.
