Change Communicated Quotation

Explanation

Use this activity to change a communicated quotation (a released and printed quotation, or a rejected quotation). Changing a communicated quotation changes the revision number and sets the status to Revised. A revised quotation must be released again. It is also possible to release single lines. When single lines are released, the status of the header is unchanged.

Every time the quotation is changed and a new revision is created, the changed data will be stored in the database and shown in the history tab and in the quotation line history.

New entries and changes to the following data will generate a new revision number and new history information:

Prerequisites

• Quotation must have Released status and has been printed, or quotation must have Rejected status.

System Effects

A new revision for quotation is created and header status is set to Revised. Changes triggered the revision are displayed in the quotation header and line history.

Procedure

1. Display the communicated quotation that you want to change via the Populate or Query function.
2. Do a change and save, or enter a new entry, or cancel a line.
3. A new revision is created.
