Close Job
Explanation
When all costs have been recorded on the financial job
it is time to post the actual cost of the job to cost of sales and to close
the job. This is done either automatically or manually, depending on your choice
when you created the job.
You can manually close a job even if not all the manufacturing and/or
inventory transactions related to the job are moved to the General Ledger or
not all the applicable purchase orders are fully invoiced. You can review the status of
each job in the dialog box that opens.
Prerequisites
- A financial job must have been created and set to be
closed manually.
- The customer order line must be in status Invoiced.
System Effects
The financial job is closed manually.
