Adjust Offsets in Sales Price List
Explanation
By using the
Adjust Offsets dialog box, it is possible to
update/adjust the percentage offset and the amount offset directly from the sales price
list, without changing the base price.
Prerequisites
This activity has the following
prerequisites:
- Base prices must have been entered.
- The user must have access to the owning
company of the sales price list.
System Effects
- Records with the new offset and a specified valid-from date are added to the sales part
list if the current valid-from date is older than the valid-from date that is entered via
the dialog box; otherwise, the current records are updated.
- If a line exists with valid-from date and valid-to
date and the valid-from date specified in the dialog box falls within that time
frame and the Include lines with both Valid
From and Valid To dates check box is selected then the line will be split into two.
- When percentage offset and amount offset are used together,
the % gets calculated from the base price and then the amount offset gets added.
