Add Customer Order Freight Charges Manually

Explanation

This activity is used to add customer order freight charges to a shipment. It is also possible to add a fixed freight charge for all the customer order lines in the shipment.

If Use Price Incl Tax check box on the Shipment/CO Collect Freight Charges tab is selected then, the charge price including tax/currency and the charge price including tax/base is editable, and the charge price/currency, charge price/base is non-editable.

Prerequisites

• Shipment should contain a customer order connected shipment line.
• The Use Freight Charges at Shipment check box must be selected in the Site/Sales and Procurement tab.
• A shipment must exist.

System Effects

Freight charges are added for the shipment.

Procedure

1. Open the Shipment window and search for the required shipment.
2. Click the CO Collect/Freight Charges tab.
3. If you want to add a fixed freight charge for the entire shipment, select the Apply Fixed Delivery Freight check box and enter the fixed amount in the Fixed Delivery Freight Amount field.
4. In the Charges tab, enter records for individual charge costs.
5. Save your changes.
