Release Transfer

Explanation

Perform this activity to set the Rental Transfer status to Released to indicate that it is ready for further processing.

In case the rental transfer shall be transferred to a different project, the Released status indicates that it is now ready to be approved by the receiving project.

Prerequisites

A rental transfer has to exist and be in the Created status.

System Effects

The rental transfer will be set to the Released status. The values for transfer quantity will be copied to the Approved Qty field as default values.

Procedure

1. Open the Rental Transfer window.
2. Query for the rental transfer that should be released.
3. Review to ensure that data on the transfer is set up correctly.
4. Right-click and click Release.
