Send/Save Mail in the CRM- or SRM-panel
Explanation
This activity is used to send e-mails from outlook and save them to IFS CRM/SRM.
Mail body and attachments are saved in IFS Document Management.
Prerequisites
- IFS Outlook Add-In (CRM- or SRM-panel) must have been installed.
- To save attachments and mail body html, Document Class and Document
Format should have been defined in CRM/SRM Default Values. Also save mail
body html and attachments should have been enabled the CRM/SRM Default
Values.
System Effects
As a result of this activity, a business mail is created and recipients will
automatically be connected as references to the business mail.

Procedure
- Open Outlook.
- Open a new mail.
- Add recipients to the mail. Optionally, go to IFS CRM/IFS SRM tab and click on the icon to open the CRM- or
SRM-panel. In the Find Contacts you can search for contacts in IFS CRM/SRM
and click To or Cc to add them as recipients.
- Go to IFS CRM/IFS SRM tab and click on Send and Save.
