Enter Default Opportunity Process

Explanation

This activity is used to view and define default processes for business opportunity. It is also used to define priority values for the attributes which control the selection of default process for a business opportunity. The default sales process is retrieved when a new business opportunity is created.

Prerequisites

At least one sales process must exist.

System Effects

A default sales process for business opportunity is defined for a combination of attributes. The attributes are given different points depending on the priority.

Procedure

  1. Open the CRM and SRM Basic Data window and click the Default Process tab.
  2. Create a new record.
  3. Enter a sales process.
  4. Enter one or several attributes.
  5. Save your entry
  6. Click the Choosing Default Process tab
  7. Enter points for the different attributes.
  8. Save your entry.
