Enter Contact in the CRM- or SRM-panel

Explanation

This activity is used to enter a lead or customer contact in the CRM-panel or a supplier contact in the SRM-panel.

Prerequisites

IFS Outlook Add-In (CRM- or SRM-panel) must have been installed.

As a result of this activity, a contact is entered for the business lead, customer or supplier.

Procedure

  1. Open Outlook.
  2. Select/open one mail or calendar item.
  3. Go to IFS CRM/IFS SRM tab and click on the icon to open the CRM- or SRM-panel.
  4. Select the record in the Recipients or Attendees list and click on the + icon to open the Register Contact dialog.
  5. If there are other contacts with a mail address belonging to the same mail domain, these leads, customers or suppliers will be shown in the Name list. You can also search by entering the ID or Name of the lead, customer or supplier or click New to create a new record.
  6. Click Add Email as Comm. Method.to add the mail address of the recipient/attendee as a communication method for the lead, customer or supplier.
  7. Click Create Contact to add the receipient/attendee as a contact for the lead, customer or supplier.
  8. Optionally create an address.
  9. Save
