Enter Business Opportunity

Explanation

This activity is used to enter a business opportunity for a customer in the CRM-panel.

Prerequisites

IFS Outlook Add-In (CRM-panel) must have been installed.

As a result of this activity, a business opportunity is entered for the customer.

Procedure

  1. Open Outlook.
  2. Select/open one mail or calendar item.
  3. Go to IFS CRM tab and click on the icon to open the CRM-panel.
  4. In the Recipients list, click on the three dots next to the contact for which you want to create the opportunity. Select Create Opportunity. From the contact details page, click the + icon and select Create Opportunity.
  5. Enter required data in the General tab.
  6. The selected contact will be the main contact for the opportunity. Add or edit contacts in the Contacts tab.
  7. The current user will be main representative for the opportunity. Add other representatives in the Representatives tab.
  8. Select the View in IFS Aurena check box to open the opportunity in IFS Aurena.
  9. Select the Create or connect to Business Mail check box to save the selected mail to IFS CRM. The mail will be saved as a Business Mail with reference to the opportunity. If a Business Mail is already created for the mail, it will be linked to the opportunity.
  10. Save.
